The guitar is based off of plans drawn up by Ted Davis in 1983.  Based off an old Gibson L-0 model guitar he restored for a customer. The guitar was from the 1920's and in pretty rough shape. While the work was going on he drew up a very nice set of plans. 

 

We are using the basic shape of this guitar but incorporating a modern bracing system for our L-0 1920.  This is on of our favored little acoustic guitar designs.  Perfect for small room settings or just sitting back on the sofa and strumming.
